dancEUA Management Fusion
M Studio is pleased to announce an international OPEN CALL for participation in Management Fusion, organized within the framework of the dancEUA project, co-funded by the Eropean Union.
Management Fusion is a programme series aimed at building an international network and enhancing the professional knowledge of cultural managers, dance professionals, dancers, and choreographers.
The programme consists of three main components:
1. OFFLINE WORKSHOP
15–22 June 2026
(15 June – arrival, 16–21 June – workshop days, 22 June – departure)
The offline workshop will take place at M Studio’s headquarters in Sfântu Gheorghe. It offersparticipants the opportunity to engage with the fundamentals of cultural management, both in theoryand practice. The workshop aims to establish a shared knowledge base and foster meaningful professionalconnections that contribute to building a sustainable international network.The workshop will run in parallel with UAPlatform, a 5-day festival organized by M Studio, featuringfive contemporary dance performances from Ukraine.
2. ONLINE MASTERCLASSES
10 sessions between September and December 2026
A series of 10 online masterclasses will be held between September and December 2026.These sessions will provide participants with in-depth professional and practical knowledge in areassuch as: cultural management, production of dance performances, funding opportunities, touring,international collaboration, management strategies.
3. JOB SHADOWING
On-site or online practical sessions with one of the project’s partner organisations
All participants of the Management Fusion programme will have the opportunity to take part in jobshadowing, either on-site or online. This component allows participants to apply the knowledge acquired during the workshops in a
practical context, through collaboration with one of the project’s partner organisations.
English is the official working language of the programme and will be used throughout all activities and communication.

dancEUA Dancers in Motion
Studio Contemporary Dance Company is happy to announce an international OPEN CALL for participation in dancEUA Dancers in Motion, which we are organizing within the frame of the dancEUA project co-funded by the European Union.
Empowering Dancers in Motion is a 6-month non-formal training program designed for young dancers from partner countries (Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Sweden and Ukraine), coordinated by Studio Contemporary Dance Company (Croatia). 10 selected participants (2 per country) receive daily training, workshops, mentorship from Croatian and European dance artists, and will take part in the creation of new dance performance choreographed by Anna Borràs.
The training and creation take place in Croatia from June to September 2026, followed by a tour of four performances in October and November 2026 in Hungary, Romania, Sweden, and Ukraine.
English is the official working language of the project and will be used throughout all activities and communication.
The project offers:
• paid travel costs;
• paid accommodation;
• scolarship and artistic fee.
When is Dancers in Motion happening?
• The training and creation is happening between June 2026 and September 2026
• Touring of the dance performance is happening during October and November 2026
• All applicants must be available during this period

• Touring is happening in Hungary, Romania, Sweden and Ukraine
Who is Dancers in Motion for?
• Young dancers aged 18 to 25 from partner countries: Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Sweden, and Ukraine;
• Individuals at the beginning of their dance careers, whether with or without formal dance education or professional experience;
• Motivated young people who are eager to learn, grow, and explore their artistic potential in a supportive and structured environment;
• Dancers who are curious, open to collaboration, and ready to connect with peers and mentors across Europe;
• Applicants interested in non-formal education, practical artistic experience, and international networking in the field of contemporary dance.
What we offer?

dancEUA Artist-in-Residence
Vitlycke - Centre for Performing Arts is happy to announce an international OPEN CALL for participation in DancEUA Artist-in-Residence, organised within the frame of the dancEUAproject co-financed by the Creative Europe.
From 2025 to 2027, Vitlycke-CPA will offer two artistic residencies per year for emerging artists from Ukraine, Sweden, Croatia, Romania and Hungary. Each residency will host up to three dance projects, with one dance artist from Ukraine and two from other partner countries.

● Dance artists interested in a collaborative environment, with opportunities to connect
and work with artists from other European countries.

Studio Contemporary Dance Company is happy to announce an international OPEN CALL for participation in Dancers in Motion, which we are organizing within the frame of the dancEUA project co-funded by the European Comission through Creative Europe.
Empowering Dancers in Motion is a 6-month non-formal training program designed for young dancers from partner countries (Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Sweden and Ukraine), coordinated by Studio Contemporary Dance Company (Croatia). 10 selected participants (2 per country) receive daily training, weekend workshops, mentorship from Croatian and European dance artists, and will take part in the creation of new dance performance. dancEUA Choreo Sync
Central Europe Dance Theatre is happy to announce an international OPEN CALL for participation in Choreo Sync, which we are organizing within the frame of the dancEUA project co-financed by the Creative Europe.
We launch the open call three times (one time each year of the project), selecting 10 choreographers each time (two choreographers from each partner-country). The academy for choreographers takes place over three years—twice in Hungary and once in Ukraine. During the 3-days residency, the choreographers create 10 short dance compositions in cooperation with a mentor. Two choreographers will work parallelly in each working period. The compositions will be presented to the public on the last day of the residency.

Choreo Sync is organized as a part of the dancEUA, a Creative Europe project (2024-2027) created by Studio Contemporary Dance Company - SSP (Croatia), Central Europe Dance Theatre - CEDT (Hungary), M Studio (Romania), Vitlycke - CPA (Sweden) and UA Contemporary Dance Platform (Ukraine) to empower Ukrainian contemporary dance through creativity, connection and resilience.

Vitlycke - Centre for Performing Arts is happy to announce an international OPEN CALL for participation in DancEUA Artist-in-Residence, which we are organizing within the frame of the dancEUA project co-financed by the Creative Europe.
From 2025 to 2027, Vitlycke-CPA will offer two artistic residencies per year for emerging artists from Ukraine, Sweden, Croatia, Romania and Hungary. Each residency will host up to three dance projects, with one dance artist from Ukraine and two from other partner countries. The DancEUA residency program is designed to foster artistic dialogue, support the development of individual projects, and encourage collaboration between artists from Ukraine and the partner countries.
DancEUA program for 2025 includes:

The Summer Residency (30 June - 19 July, 2025) - We offer our small studio space to dance artists who are in the early stages of developing their performances.

The Autumn Residency (3 - 22 November 2025) - This residency provides access to both our small studio and black-box studio, ideal for performances that are in progress and require a stage for further development. Limited technical equipment might be available if needed.
